Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean, comfortable room. Great place to stay near the old city. Easy walk to everything. Highly recommend this for a stay if you do not want or require lunch or dinner at your hotel. Think if this as a four star boutique hotel serving breakfast, only.
The location of Villa Kosuta was perfect for us and Anna was extremely welcoming and hospitable. She was most informative and helpful and we found her willingness to share the history of her country, most illuminating and moving. We loved staying at the villa and we were most appreciative of the kindness and generosity from Anna and her husband. These qualities made our stay in Dubrovnik an extremely memorable experience and one we shall always treasure.
Very friendly welcome. Great room. Although located at the back of the house we had a bright and airy view over a courtyard and a little sliver of sea, and the room was spacious - very pleasant. Although not in the old town it is literally a two or three minute downhill stroll to the old town walls. There is a bakery a similar distance away for cheap breakfast, and the airport bus stop is opposite the bakery.
No complaints. Was a little concerned when I found it was not actually in the old town, but it is literally little over a stone's throw from the walls of the old town.
Ana gave us an incredibly warm welcome before showing us to our room, providing a map and pointing out local amenities. The room was lovely and clean, location perfect - just a few metres from the old town. I'd definitly recommend it.
The only downside was we didn't get the room we thought we were getting (with balcony and tv) as it was only available for one of the two nights we were there, although we could have had it for the one night and we couldn't be bothered to move! It didn't matter anyway as the room we did get was pleasant.
Very friendly owners, close to old town
It was very hot in the room
Very good location near the Cable Car, Old Town and Public Parking. Private parking is also available outside of the apartment.
Studio apartments features bay view from the balcony and satellite TV which were not available in any of the offered apartments. We did not get reduction on price so this should definately be considered.
Very friendly, helpful hosts. Great location for old town. Clean accommodation, all we needed for a one night stay. Parking a bonus, but will need to request and check availability.
Get directions off Ana by phone before arriving - easy when you know but what we thought was a street was a path and drove on - there are one way streets which could have you doing a complete circle in busy Dubrovnik. our room would not have been suitable for a weeks stay but as a base for visiting the city was good.
The couple were very friendly and very helpful. There was air conditioning within the room which worked. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. The villa was easily accessible from the main road. would definitely recommend staying here.
The room (Room One) was close to the old town so very convenient. It was close to the Cable Car as well as to shops for groceries etc. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning works well. The terrace is large and has a view of the sea which is very nice, and was a pleasant place for breakfast.
The kitchen was very poorly equipped. No plates to eat off, only bowls. There's hardly any cutlery. The room needs spucing up - a lick of paint is recommended. It's right next to a busy road so the constant traffic is rather noisey
The owner, Anna, welcomed us and was very helpful. The location was perfect, with the main attractions within walking distance. Our room had a large terrace that over looked the old town and the ocean.
The bed sagged badly.
Value for the price.Very kind and helpful owner makes you feel welcome.Perfect location (just few minutes to old town, airport bus-stop,local bus-stop,cable car entry etc.).And if you happen to have a room with a view - perfect!
A very warm welcome and great help for parking the car nearby. We were 2 adults and 15 yr old son and had plenty of room with our son, thoughtfully, put up with a bed in the adjoining "salon". The hotel is very near and convenient for the old town, just 4 minute walk to the eastern gate. Room was well air conditioned against the very hot weather. It is advisable to ask for parking space and you will get parking just outside the hotel. The owners are very welcoming and Mrs speaks good English. Highly recommended.
There is nothing negative to say - we got what we expected which was comfort, cleanliness and good location.
Excellent location close to airport bus and old town. Owners met us out the front and helped with baggage. Very helpfull with everything including alarm clock for early departure. Would stay there again.
Too many stairs but you have to expect that. Rooms need to be updated with appliances crockery etc. Needs new elecrtical wiring so as you can watch TV and have fridge on at the same time.
It was very comfortable and in it was situated in a perfect location
We didn't dislike anything about the apartment.
Anna and August, the owners are the best. Anna speaks English perfectly. Sooooo very, very helpful..they live on site and are awlays there. Great view from room terrace. Great location. If stay here bring own soap and shampoo as none is supplied..no microwave but there is a range and refrig.wireless works greast. Always hot water and heat. Very close to local and airport bus stop however,is coming from Split it is around 6 km from that bus station and taxis are very expensive...40 Kuna. Would definitely stay again.
Bathroom and shower are tiny. Can barely turn arounbd in shower and toilet in weird location (no place for legs when sitting). No towel racks. Also..be careful of low, attic ceiling if get the tope floor...smashed my head once but learned quickly. Would defintely still stay again....Anna is the best.
